Seaside, waterside, surrounding and future use of the dockside define what system is needed. First consideration for planning a dockside is ...
- do we need a fixed dockside???
- do we need a flexible dockside???
- or do we need a combination of both systems???
With a low depth of water, a short reedbelt or hardly any fluctuations the right choice is a fixed dockside. Heeling will remain unaffected.
If you have tight fluctuations from 0.6 m and more, you are canoeist or oarsman or the depth of the water is over 3 m near waterside - then a flexible dockside would be advisable.
If the local conditions add up to a combination of both systems, we also gladly combine the systems for you.
