Fixed dockside

  • with flexible docks attached at the existing foundation
  • disappearing stairs
  • covering: thermowood corrugated ash boards
  • Accessories: stainless steel endpipe, stainless steel railing

In boathouses too docksides are often used. The task was to fix a floating dock just 1 m wide so that it does not tip over too much and it is taken care of the heeling. A flexible dock was necessary because the Wannsee has strong water level fluctuations.

The access from a fixed to a flexible dock was carried out with disappearing stairs. This has the advantage that it is easy to walk even with very different water levels.

The canoe boarding at the end of the dock helps the sportsmen to get easily in and out of the canoe. The stainless steel railing also protects users from unwanted bathing.
